Some things to consider when modifying a car are the affects it can cause on your drive ability. A more free flowing exhaust can give a droning noise through the cabin in the car. After a while this can cause headaches.

Insurance - insurance will also need to be notified if any modifications are made to your car. If you do modify the car without them knowing about it in the case of an accident the insurance will not have to legally cover you if those modifications are not in contract.
